The Israel Defense Forces are continuing their mission to degrade Hezbollah’s military capabilities, conducting a series of precise air strikes against weapons storage facilities and rocket launchers throughout southern Lebanon.

These operations, which the IDF maintains are necessary to eliminate threats to Israeli citizens, come as Hezbollah continues to launch drones, rockets, and explosive devices at Israeli troops and northern communities.

While reports from the Lebanese health ministry cite casualties following these strikes, the Israeli military has been clear: its targets are Hezbollah operatives and the infrastructure used to facilitate terror attacks.

In one instance, the IDF explicitly stated that a strike in the Mayfadoun area was directed solely at a terrorist threat and not at rescue personnel, refuting claims of intentional targeting.

The conflict, which escalated following a joint US-Israel operation against Iran, remains intense as Hezbollah leadership continues to reject diplomatic efforts, vowing not to abandon the battlefield.

As Israel continues to act in its own defense, the IDF has issued evacuation warnings to residents in areas where Hezbollah has embedded its military assets, prioritizing the removal of terror threats that have destabilized the region.
