President Trump Stands Firm Against Hostile Media Outlets

The White House is reclaiming control over press access as major networks launch a coordinated boycott in response to the administration's crackdown on 'fake news.'

The White House is currently locked in a high-stakes standoff with the mainstream media after President Trump moved to revoke credentials for outlets that have consistently peddled what he describes as 'fictions and lies.' In response to the administration's decision to bar reporters from CNN, Politico, and MS NOW, the major television networks—including ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox News—have launched a coordinated boycott of White House pool duties.

This manufactured crisis reached a head during a recent event where the absence of the media pool left cameras and microphones unavailable for the President’s remarks. President Trump has remained unapologetic, labeling these outlets 'Third Rate Clowns' and 'Crooked and Corrupt' for their history of publishing defamatory stories based on anonymous sources.

While the media cries foul, citing the First Amendment, the administration is moving forward with its own direct-to-consumer communication strategy, including the launch of 'Trump TV' on YouTube to bypass the filter of hostile newsrooms.

As the legal battle unfolds, the President has made it clear that access to the most important office in the world is a privilege, not a right, and that he will not tolerate organizations that undermine national security and demean his administration's achievements.
