Russian Forces Turn Kherson Streets Into 'Human Safari' Targeting Civilians

The true face of the Russian invasion has been laid bare once again as footage emerges of a Russian drone hunting down a 52-year-old street vendor in Kherson.

The victim, identified as Yuriy, was simply attempting to sell vegetables when he was targeted by a drone operator who turned the city street into a personal 'human safari.' The video shows the drone relentlessly pursuing the man as he desperately maneuvers around his van, only to swoop down and detonate upon him.

Yuriy survived the attack with shrapnel wounds and trauma, but the incident serves as a chilling reminder of the Russian military's disregard for human life. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha have condemned the act as a deliberate, systemic strategy of terror designed to intimidate the civilian population.

This is not an isolated incident; a 2025 UN report confirmed that Russian forces have recurrently targeted civilians in the area with drones, often broadcasting the victims' final moments for sport.

While Russia continues to deny targeting civilians, the evidence on the ground in Kherson paints a clear picture of a military force that has abandoned the rules of engagement in favor of sadistic, targeted violence against non-combatants.
