Vice President JD Vance has made it clear that the Trump administration’s foreign policy is guided by one North Star: the interests of the American people.

In a recent interview, Vance addressed the evolving relationship with Israel, noting that while Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is an aggressive defender of his own nation, those interests do not always align with those of the United States.

Vance stated plainly that when such a divergence occurs, the administration will choose the side of the American people. This stance comes as the White House seeks to navigate a complex Middle Eastern landscape, including ongoing tensions with Iran and Israel's necessary military operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon.

While the media attempts to frame these policy differences as a crisis, the reality is a clear-eyed approach to statecraft where the U.S. refuses to be dragged into open-ended conflicts that do not serve our national security.

President Trump remains focused on critical objectives, such as securing the Strait of Hormuz to end the global energy crisis and dismantling Iran's nuclear ambitions.

Despite the friction caused by Israel's continued push against Iranian-backed proxies, the administration is prioritizing a strategy that puts American prosperity and security back on track, refusing to apologize for putting our own citizens first.
