In a long-overdue move, the U.S.
Treasury also revoked the temporary waiver on oil sanctions, signaling that the era of appeasement is over. Predictably, the regime in Tehran responded with empty threats and failed attempts to strike U.S. military sites in Bahrain and Kuwait.
While the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps continues to posture and spout rhetoric about 'bullying,' their actions have only served to isolate them further from the international community, with regional partners like Saudi Arabia and Qatar rightfully holding Iran responsible for the dangerous escalation.
