The United States has sent a clear message to the criminal syndicates terrorizing the Western Hemisphere: American resolve is absolute. President Donald Trump announced that at his direction, the US Southern Command carried out a swift and lethal air strike that eliminated Héctor Rusthenford Guerrero Flores, better known as 'Niño' Guerrero.

Guerrero, the mastermind behind the Tren de Aragua gang, had turned a prison-based criminal outfit into a sprawling transnational terror organization involved in sex trafficking, contract killing, and kidnapping.

The strike, which was coordinated with Venezuelan authorities, marks the end of a long-standing reign of terror for a criminal who had previously mocked the justice system by turning his own prison into a luxury leisure complex.

The Trump administration has rightly designated Tren de Aragua as a foreign terrorist organization, citing their engagement in irregular warfare against the United States.

While international critics and legal hand-wringers attempt to question the legality of these operations, the White House has maintained a firm stance: the US is in a formal armed conflict with these cartels, and those operating drug-running vessels and terror networks are combatants who have forfeited their right to due process.

By targeting these threats at the source, the administration is prioritizing the safety of the American people over the sensibilities of globalist institutions. This operation follows the successful removal of Nicolás Maduro, further demonstrating that the United States will no longer tolerate the unchecked expansion of criminal regimes on its doorstep.
