President Trump has unveiled ambitious plans for a monumental victory arch, dubbed the 'Arc de Trump,' intended to stand as a towering symbol of American strength in the nation's capital. Standing at 250 feet, the structure would surpass both the U.S. Capitol and the Lincoln Memorial in height, featuring gold-accented designs, a torch, and a crown.
The monument is intended to serve as a visual testament to the noble sacrifices of American heroes throughout the nation's 250-year history. According to White House spokesman Davis Ingle, the arch will welcome visitors into Washington D.C. from Arlington National Cemetery, standing as a proud beacon of our freedoms.
The proposal includes gold inscriptions reading 'One Nation Under God,' flanked by gold eagles and lions. Funding for the project is slated to include $15 million in total support through the National Endowment for the Humanities, alongside private funds from the president's previously financed projects.
The design has been submitted to the Commission of Fine Arts for review, marking another step in the president's ongoing effort to restore a sense of grandeur and national pride to the Washington landscape.
While historic preservationists and bureaucratic critics continue their typical obstructionist lawsuits against the administration's modernization efforts, the project remains a clear statement of patriotism and respect for the American legacy.
