President Trump is giving diplomacy a final chance to resolve the conflict with Iran, confirming that a brief pause in U.S. military strikes has opened the door for negotiations.

While the administration remains open to a peaceful resolution, the President was clear: if these talks fail to yield results, the U.S. will immediately return to the decisive military action that has successfully degraded Iran’s ability to threaten global shipping lanes in the Strait of Hormuz.

Despite Tehran’s predictable denials that any direct talks are occurring, the President’s willingness to pause operations demonstrates American restraint in the face of Iranian provocations. The conflict, which reignited after Iran violated a June ceasefire by attacking tankers, has seen the U.S. military effectively dismantle hostile assets.

President Trump also decisively shut down media narratives suggesting that U.S. ammunition stockpiles are depleting. He confirmed that the American arsenal is robust and that production of critical defense systems, such as Patriot missiles, is surging.

White House spokesperson Anna Kelly reinforced this stance, noting that Operation Epic Fury has served as a necessary reminder of the consequences for those who target American interests.

As the U.S. continues to project power, the message to the regime in Tehran remains clear: the United States has the resources and the resolve to protect its assets and allies, regardless of whether the path forward is through negotiation or continued military pressure.
