President Trump is pushing back against the growing chorus of alarmists calling for heavy-handed government regulation of artificial intelligence. In a series of social media posts, the President labeled the safety concerns a 'hoax' and compared the narrative to the 'Global Warming Scam' and the 'Russia, Russia, Russia' investigation.

He asserted that the only 'guardrails' necessary for the technology are a 'strong and smart' president, rather than the bureaucratic red tape favored by the radical left. The President warned that there is a 'sick conspiracy' against AI and data centers, noting that the only nation benefiting from the current climate of fear is China.

'Whoever wins AI, wins!' he stated, highlighting the strategic necessity of maintaining American dominance in the sector.

The push for regulation has been championed by figures like Anthropic co-founder Jack Clark, who suggested a mandatory 'kill switch' for AI models, and Senator Bernie Sanders, who has invoked hyperbolic claims about the potential extinction of humanity.

While some tech executives, including those at OpenAI and xAI, have signaled support for deceleration and independent monitoring, the President’s stance reflects a clear-eyed understanding that artificial intelligence is a critical frontier of national power.

As Chinese state media notes, Washington's anxiety over AI development risks distorting policy priorities and allowing competitors to pull ahead. By rejecting the calls for stifling oversight, the President is prioritizing American technological supremacy over the fear-mongering of those who would see the U.S. fall behind on the global stage.
