The legal proceedings against David Anthony Burke, the singer professionally known as D4vd, have exposed a horrific timeline of alleged abuse and exploitation.
Prosecutors in Los Angeles presented damning evidence, including iCloud data and text messages, indicating that Burke began a relationship with the victim, Celeste Rivas Hernandez, when she was just 11 years old.
The evidence suggests that the abuse escalated over several years, with messages revealing the teenager had been pregnant and undergone an abortion while still a minor. Prosecutors allege that Burke, now 20, murdered the girl after she threatened to expose his criminal behavior and destroy his career.
The investigation took a dark turn in September 2025, when police discovered the teenager’s remains in the trunk of Burke’s Tesla. DNA evidence from blood found in the defendant's Hollywood Hills home further linked him to the scene.
