In a victory for election integrity, the Supreme Court has cleared the way for the Trump administration to utilize the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) database to identify non-citizens registered to vote.

For too long, left-wing activists and Biden-appointed judges have tried to obstruct common-sense efforts to maintain accurate voter rolls, claiming that verifying citizenship somehow threatens the democratic process.

The Supreme Court’s conservative majority saw through this, correctly noting that the federal government has an obligation to assist states in verifying citizenship data.

While liberal justices and activist groups like the League of Women Voters hyperventilate about the potential for errors, they conveniently ignore the fundamental necessity of ensuring that our electoral system is not compromised by those who have no legal right to participate in it.

Currently, 27 states use this system to protect the sanctity of the ballot box. Officials like Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger have demonstrated that when used with proper oversight, these tools are an essential component of election security.

The reality is that the left’s obsession with blocking these checks is a transparent attempt to keep the rolls bloated and vulnerable.

The Supreme Court has now affirmed that the federal government is not barred from using the best tools at its disposal to uphold the law, ensuring that the sacred right to vote remains reserved for those to whom it actually belongs: American citizens.
