The Iranian-backed Houthi militia has escalated its campaign of terror, launching a coordinated strike of dozens of drones and ballistic missiles against Saudi Arabian civilian infrastructure and energy facilities.

The assault hit four cities—Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran—resulting in 73 injuries, including women and children, and sparking fires at critical oil installations.

The Saudi-led coalition, which has been working to restore order in Yemen for over a decade, correctly identified the Houthi movement as a terrorist militia and vowed to take all necessary operational measures to deter further aggression.

While the Houthis attempted to justify their violence as retaliation for coalition strikes, their actions represent a dangerous and irresponsible escalation against sovereign territory.

This latest act of hostility comes as the Houthis continue their violent bid to seize control of the strategically vital Bab al-Mandab Strait, further destabilizing a region already grappling with the fallout of Iran’s regional belligerence.

Saudi authorities have confirmed that while operations were temporarily halted due to the fires, the coalition remains committed to defending its borders and infrastructure against these lawless attacks.
