Vladimir Putin remains firmly committed to his full-scale invasion of Ukraine, showing no signs of backing down despite the significant battlefield losses and economic damage his nation has sustained.

With a rubber-stamp parliament emboldened by a recent electoral mandate, the Kremlin is signaling that its so-called special military operation will continue unabated. Moscow is currently exploiting perceived vulnerabilities, including Ukraine's shortage of air defense missiles, while ramping up strikes to break the resolve of the Ukrainian people.

Beyond the front lines, Russia is engaged in a calculated 'grey zone' campaign against Europe, utilizing cyber-attacks, sabotage, and drone incursions to pressure Western nations into cutting off their support for Kyiv.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov continues to promote the absurd narrative that Europe is the aggressor, attempting to justify the Kremlin's unprovoked 2022 invasion as a defensive necessity. Meanwhile, hardline Russian strategists are openly threatening nuclear escalation, betting that Western powers lack the resolve to respond.

It is clear that Moscow’s goal remains the total destruction of Ukraine as a viable state, and as long as the Kremlin believes it can manipulate Western hesitation, the conflict will continue to rage.
