The Kremlin’s campaign of destabilization has reached a new threshold with the confirmed sabotage of a Starlink satellite station in Poland.

Polish Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski stated that the fire, which occurred in the Masovian Voivodeship, was a calculated attempt to disrupt internet access for critical institutions, including the Ukrainian military. While investigations continue, officials assert the attack aligns with a new Russian doctrine of aggression.

This incident follows a series of provocations, including a recent violation of Polish airspace by a Russian military helicopter and a broader pattern of hybrid attacks across Europe.

Denmark’s intelligence services have warned of a growing risk of limited military strikes against NATO nations, while Germany and France have been forced to bolster protections for their own critical infrastructure. Despite Vladimir Putin’s hollow denials of any intent to attack the West, the reality on the ground tells a different story.

As Russia continues its brutal bombardment of Ukrainian population centers—resulting in tragic civilian casualties in Kharkiv and Kyiv—the threat to European security remains undeniable. The West must recognize that these acts of sabotage are not isolated accidents, but deliberate maneuvers by a regime determined to test the resolve of the NATO alliance.
