The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) continue their mission to dismantle Hamas, maintaining that their operations are precise, necessary, and aimed at neutralizing threats that persist despite ceasefire agreements.

While the Hamas-run Ministry of Health in Gaza releases figures claiming over 1,300 deaths since the October 10 ceasefire, the IDF has explicitly disputed these numbers, stating there is no basis to assume all listed individuals were killed by Israeli military activity.

The IDF maintains that it operates in accordance with international agreements to protect its troops and Israeli civilians, working to mitigate civilian harm while targeting those responsible for the October 7, 2023, massacre.

Reports indicate the IDF has successfully targeted numerous military operatives, including commanders directly involved in the planning of the brutal attack on Israel that left 1,200 dead and 251 taken hostage. Conflict monitoring groups have verified hundreds of strikes aimed at Hamas militants and Islamic Jihad commanders.

The IDF has emphasized that it remains committed to the ceasefire, but that Hamas and other terror organizations continue to pose active threats that necessitate a firm military response.

Israel’s commitment to national security remains paramount as it works to ensure that those who orchestrate terror against its citizens face the consequences of their actions.
