Elon Musk is refusing to apologize for his vision of the future, telling his detractors to simply 'enjoy the ride' as artificial intelligence continues its rapid, unstoppable evolution.

In a candid interview with The Economist, the SpaceX and Tesla CEO acknowledged the risks posed by AI but remained optimistic, predicting that the technology will ultimately lead to a new era of incredible abundance. Musk noted that the pace of progress is now beyond anyone's control, rendering any attempt to halt it futile.

The conversation also saw Musk push back against the tired narrative that he harbors racist views. When confronted by the media's framing of his political commentary, Musk pointed to his own life and diverse executive teams as evidence that the 'far-right' labels are baseless.

He was equally unapologetic regarding his stance on immigration, stating clearly that he opposes the entry of individuals who hold views antithetical to Western values, specifically citing his opposition to crime and the imposition of laws that clash with our established societal norms.

Despite the predictable outrage from the legacy media and the growing chorus of those who claim to 'loathe' him, Musk remains unfazed. With a quarter of a billion followers on X, he noted that his massive audience suggests he is far more popular than his critics would like to admit.

Ultimately, Musk is choosing to focus on the technological horizon rather than the petty grievances of those who seek to tear him down.
