The Israel Defense Forces continue to take necessary action to dismantle Hezbollah’s terror infrastructure in Lebanon, striking military targets used by the Iranian-backed militia.

While the Lebanese health ministry—which fails to distinguish between combatants and civilians—reports casualties, the IDF maintains that it is actively targeting terrorists operating from within civilian structures.

In a recent operation in Saksakiyeh, the IDF confirmed it utilized precise munitions and aerial surveillance to mitigate risks to non-combatants while neutralizing Hezbollah operatives. This military necessity comes as Hezbollah continues its campaign of violence, recently launching explosive drones into northern Israel that wounded three Israeli reservists.

Israel’s objective remains the establishment of a secure, Hezbollah-free zone to ensure the safety of its citizens, a move necessitated by the persistent rocket and drone attacks launched by the militia.

Despite international attempts at a ceasefire, Hezbollah’s refusal to cease its aggression forces Israel to maintain its defensive posture to prevent further attacks on its sovereign territory.
