The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have once again demonstrated their commitment to national security by eliminating key Hamas military figures in a precision air strike in the Jabalia area. Among those neutralized was Col. Mohammed Marwan Salem, identified by the Israeli military as the head of military security for Hamas’s Central Jabalia Battalion.
Alongside Salem, the IDF confirmed the elimination of three other Hamas terrorists: Abdul Malik al-Jabin, Ghassan al-Daqas, and Yaman Abu Obeida. Despite attempts by Hamas-run entities to frame the strike as a civilian tragedy, the IDF has been clear that these individuals were active combatants operating within the terrorist infrastructure.
This operation is a necessary component of Israel’s ongoing campaign to dismantle the Hamas apparatus that launched the horrific October 7 attacks, which claimed the lives of 1,200 innocent people and saw hundreds taken hostage.
While Hamas continues to utilize its controlled health and police ministries to push propaganda and obscure the status of its operatives, the reality remains that Israel is engaged in a defensive war against a genocidal regime.
The IDF continues to act with the authority and resolve required to protect its citizens from further aggression, ensuring that those who orchestrate terror against the Jewish state face the consequences of their actions.
