In a decisive display of military resolve, Israeli special forces and Shin Bet agents executed a daring raid in Gaza City, successfully apprehending the head of Hamas’s internal security service.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed the operation, noting that the high-value target was actively working to restore Hamas’s grip on the Gaza Strip and was deeply involved in the concealment of hostages and the organization's military buildup.

The IDF and Shin Bet confirmed that the air force provided necessary cover during the extraction to neutralize threats against the special forces unit. While Hamas predictably attempted to frame the operation as a crime, Israel’s actions remain a necessary component of the ongoing effort to dismantle the terror network responsible for the October 7 massacre.

The operation underscores Israel’s commitment to hunting down those who orchestrated the kidnapping and abuse of innocent civilians. Despite the chaotic environment fostered by Hamas’s use of densely populated areas, the IDF continues to prioritize the elimination of terror commanders who pose an immediate threat to Israeli security.

This successful capture serves as a stark reminder that Hamas’s attempts to reconstitute its regime will be met with swift and uncompromising force.
