The Israeli military continues to strike Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon, maintaining a firm stance against the Iran-backed group even as a partial ceasefire agreement brokered by the United States takes effect.
Under the terms announced by President Trump, Israel agreed to refrain from striking Beirut in exchange for Hezbollah halting its rocket and drone attacks on Israeli communities. However, the agreement is already under strain.
The Israeli military issued fresh evacuation orders for Nabatieh, citing Hezbollah’s continued violation of the ceasefire through missile and drone launches.
Israeli officials have made it clear that they will not tolerate these provocations, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warning that any further attacks on Israeli cities will be met with strikes on Hezbollah targets in Beirut.
While the Lebanese health ministry reports casualties in the south, the Israeli military has consistently maintained that it does not target civilian infrastructure, accusing Hezbollah of the cowardly tactic of embedding its operations within population centers.
Despite the ongoing diplomatic efforts in Washington, the reality on the ground remains a conflict of Israel's survival against a terrorist organization that has spent months launching unprovoked attacks.
Israel’s commitment to its national security remains the priority, as the military continues to operate against those who threaten its citizens, regardless of international pressure or the complaints of those who would prefer Israel remain passive in the face of aggression.
