Netanyahu Rejects Trump's Gaza Plan, Demands Real Hamas Disarmament

The Israeli Prime Minister refuses to pull troops until the terrorist group is truly neutralized, dismissing calls for a premature withdrawal.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has drawn a hard line against the U.S.-backed 15-point peace plan for Gaza, declaring that Israel will not withdraw its military forces until Hamas is truly and permanently disarmed.

While international diplomats and the Trump administration’s Board of Peace push for a roadmap that includes a phased withdrawal, Netanyahu made it clear during a cabinet meeting on Sunday that Israel will not trade its security for a 'fictitious' disarmament process.

Hamas, a terrorist organization responsible for the brutal October 7, 2023, massacre, has attempted to condition its own disarmament on an immediate Israeli retreat—a demand Netanyahu rightly refuses to entertain.

The Prime Minister emphasized that Israel will continue to thwart threats against its citizens and soldiers, refusing to bow to pressure that would leave the nation vulnerable to future attacks.

Despite ongoing pressure from U.S. diplomats like Nickolay Mladenov, who claim the plan is the only path forward, Netanyahu remains steadfast in his duty to protect the Israeli people.

With elections approaching and his coalition demanding a firm stance, the Israeli leader is prioritizing national sovereignty and the total elimination of the terrorist threat over the demands of international mediators.
