The United States military has taken necessary action to protect its personnel and regional stability, conducting self-defense strikes against Iranian radar and command-and-control sites.
These strikes, carried out over the weekend in Goruk and on Qeshm island, were a direct response to aggressive Iranian actions, including the downing of a U.S. drone over international waters and a barrage of ballistic missiles aimed at U.S. forces in Kuwait.
Centcom confirmed that no American personnel were harmed during the Iranian attacks, which Kuwaiti officials condemned as a heinous and dangerous escalation.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) attempted to justify their aggression by claiming they were targeting an air base used by U.S. forces, but the reality remains that Tehran continues to threaten the freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
While President Trump has signaled a desire for a deal that secures American interests, the Iranian regime continues to stall, shifting demands and attempting to link the conflict to unrelated regional issues.
As the U.S. military continues to demonstrate its resolve in defending against hostile actors, the message to Tehran is clear: American strength will not be intimidated by state-sponsored terrorism or reckless missile salvos.
