The true cost of Iranian-sponsored aggression is on full display as thousands of refugees flee Yemen’s west coast to escape the latest Houthi offensive. These militants, acting as a direct proxy for the regime in Tehran, have launched a violent push to seize control of the strategically vital port of Mokha and surrounding islands.

The resulting humanitarian crisis has forced thousands to risk their lives on overcrowded, dangerous boats across the Bab al-Mandab Strait just to reach the safety of Djibouti.

Local officials in the port town of Obock are now scrambling to accommodate an influx of up to 10,000 refugees who arrive with little more than the clothes on their backs and no access to basic necessities like food or water.

This latest escalation serves as a stark reminder of the Houthi movement's commitment to destabilizing the region and the lethal consequences of their ongoing insurgency.
