President Trump arrived in Beijing for a high-profile, two-day summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping, aimed at navigating the complex and often turbulent relationship between the world's two largest economies.

The President was greeted with a formal arrival ceremony at the Great Hall of the People, featuring a gun salute and an inspection of Chinese troops.

The delegation accompanying the President included key American business leaders such as Tesla’s Elon Musk, Apple’s Tim Cook, BlackRock’s Larry Fink, and Nvidia’s Jensen Huang, alongside Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and members of the Trump family.

During the bilateral talks, President Xi acknowledged the global significance of the meeting, describing the current international landscape as fluid and turbulent. For his part, President Trump emphasized the productive nature of his direct communication with Xi, noting that they have historically resolved difficulties quickly through personal dialogue.

The visit included a lavish banquet at the Great Hall of the People and a tour of the historic Temple of Heaven. President Trump has extended an invitation for President Xi and his wife to visit the White House this September, signaling a continued commitment to high-level engagement between the two nations.
