The Iranian-backed Houthi regime has once again proven its commitment to chaos and bloodshed, launching a series of ballistic missile strikes against a cargo ship in the Red Sea that left six people dead and ten others injured.

According to the internationally recognized Yemeni government, the Houthis fired three missiles at the vessel south of the port of Mocha, sparking a fire on board. In a display of pure malice, the terrorists followed up with a second strike specifically targeting the rescue teams attempting to evacuate the survivors.

The victims included three Pakistani nationals and one Indonesian crew member. While the Houthis attempted to justify their act of war by claiming the ship carried Saudi military equipment, the Yemeni government confirmed the vessel was a commercial ship carrying food supplies.

This latest atrocity highlights the failure of regional ceasefires and the ongoing danger posed by Iran’s proxies, who continue to threaten global shipping lanes and vital waterways.

As the Houthis maintain their illegal blockade and target commercial interests, it is clear that the Iranian-backed insurgency remains a direct threat to international stability and human life.
